Also can you please provide more info on the wheels? They look really lightweight

Thank you!craciunptr wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 10:06 pmIt's absolutely stunning!! Really impressed with your work, nice and classy- gumwall tires set it off.
Will you be doing loads of riding this year?
I’ll be doing as much as I can while also being home with my 1year old as much as possible and balancing loads of work travel! I am heading to Annecy for a week while the tdf is on and then 3 weeks in South Africa this December
Regarding the wheels I have little to no info as I bought them second hand locally, I was told they are Planet X, they weigh 988 without tyres, cassette and skewers, so light for the money I paid.

Very nice and a massive drop. Sub 5 is within reach

Just a thought - could you remove the unused cable guides if you're sticking with eTap? I bet they're steel, and losing a few grams off the frame weight is always nice. Maybe adventurous, but I'd think about it. Check your RD hanger bolts aren't steel too!
I need no adapter, test fitted and worked fine

I will keep the cable guides, as I am undecided on etap, I may go red mech as that would save a fair bit of weight as well, so want to keep that option open.
Re, the hanger bolts, do you have a replacement option for me? As I’m sure they are steel, even though I’m 10,000kms away from the bike at the moment and cannot check

Use M3 socket head bolts from Toronto Cycles. I'm using aluminium, but ti is also available if you had any concerns about strength.
I'd assume your Supersix is the same specs - M3x16 (I think, but check first). Only saved me 1.2g, but there's always other things on the shoppoing list from Toronto Cycles anyway... black ti stem/seatpost clamp bolts etc

Shed a little more weight.
Got the Kalloy Uno back on as well as removing the little rubber grip from the bottle cage. It was rather unnecessary as the Mt.Zoom cages are snug enough without it.
Now down to 5.175kgs

Such a great build. Looks fast standing still.
Any more initial thoughts on the saddle now that you've had it for a bit? I've always ridden an arione. Switched to a Lupina recently but the idea of a lightweight arione copy is intriguing.

As much as I’ve had it a while, ive only got 2hrs on it, work travel has seen bike time extremely limited!! I do like it, but only time will tell!

New fork has been stripped of paint and weighed. Came in at 268gr before clear coat, which is 39g lighter than the original, and the steerer has not yet been cut. Looking like I will save in the region of 50grams vs original fork. I plan on also getting the FSA SL bearings to save a little more.
I also have KCNC CB1 brakes on route, hoping to save around 20grams VS the ZG's.
Will get a new weight once all setup.

New fork has made it through paint stripping and having the 'EVO' decal added as well as a little HM action on the inside of the fork legs. It has now also been cleared. Should have it back next week some time. Looks good if I do say so myself

Some new items have recently arrived, namely KCNC CB1 brakes which represent a saving of 24grams over the ZG OG-05’s (pass included), I have ridden these brakes before, and although they are not the best out there, I’m fairly light on my brakes and wheels, so am happy with the performance, and a Raceware 3D printed Garmin mount. The fork has left KustomFlow so should be with me in the next couple days
