Well, the seat tube angle is a bit steeper than the same size C64 but only by less than a quarter of a degree. Don’t think that should pose a problem as long as the top tube is to your liking.

Its funny cause on all other sites the geometry charts for that frame show the traditional Colnago measurements and angles which makes me think that the Colnago site has made an error on that one. I checked all the other frames and they seem quite traditional for that size. I mean you dont get much more traditonal than Colnago even in this day and age. I would think sites like R&A and Colorado Cyclist would be on top of the sizing as they are big dealers in the states.

Hmmm, interesting. I just checked a hard copy 2017 catalog I have and for the V1-R it’s showing a seat tube angle of 72.5, which I would think may be suspect. What are all the other sites you’ve checked reporting for the seat tube angle? It’s not like there’s never been an error in a geometry chart before, but the 73.1 degree number that is currently on their website doesn’t seem out of line with what I would expect. The 565mm effective top tube number seems reasonable however.

Sorry Calnago, didnt see the notification but the geometry charts at Colarado Cyclist, Merlin, R&A, and SigmaSports shows 54s with a seat tube angle of 72.5. I would tend to think they have it proper. Even the Concept has a seat tube of 72.8 which is still only a slight difference and being an aero bike that is pretty slack compared to all other manufactures who go with 73.5 or steeper. Only the K1 TT frame has a steeper seat tube of 77 that I can see and that is on all frame sizes for the TT.

Took delivery of my 2019 V2r rim brake 58s earlier this week. Campy Super Record and Bora Ultra 50 wheels. Deda super zero bar and stem, Prologo scratch 2 saddle I’m dismayed by the 7484 gm weight. How could this be? I bought it as a complete build from Colnago and could have saved a little weight on the wheels but 16.5 lbs is heavier than my 61 cm Venge VIAS. Makes no sense.

Here's my Colnago V2R Disc march 15th 2019 . Did 5.900 km's sofar. Great bike. Had some bad experience with FSA crankset. Replaced it for Shimano. This is a perfect fit.
Really love the feel of the bike. Rode the Tour Transalp this June. Great and confident descending. Climbing is lovely although no WW for this bnike. 7.8kg as per picture.
