Finished this build up yesterday. Some build notes:

First build with a cervelo road bike. Epoxy on the fork insert was a new process but very easy. Nice and secure.

I've ridden Di2 since the first gen, the 9150 generation is flawless and refined. Aside from the wiring hassles (mostly self-inflicted) setup and adjustment was trivial.

Wiring: I wanted a very clean cockpit, no exposed wires (especially behind stem into top tube). This required additional lengths of wire to come out with the rear brake housing. I am also using both sprint and climbing shifters, so all ports are used on the shifters. This required an additional b-junction to be used, which is inside the bars, along with the all the other wiring. It's a tight fit and unfortunately I didn't wrap the junction in foam tape and it rattles something fierce. Will be fixing ASAP.

I used the PRO VIBE AL bars, due to stock availability. They were drilled differently than the carbon version, with no holes at the shifters. Much prefer the carbon bars and will be swapping out as soon as they come in stock.

Ride notes: Only around the parking lot but feels very stiff, very similar to my s-works tarmac. Geometry is pretty close, fit almost exactly the same.

Weights: I tried to document the weight of all the components, with pictures below. I wasn't trying for a particularly light build, but wanted a fuss-free durable high performance bike. I prefer Shimano/PRO due to an industry connection, so that resulted in some heavier parts selections. I would have liked the 9100-P crankset but wasn't available, so I went with another Quarq which we have had good luck with, very reliable and functional. Shifting is 100% with the 9100 rings.

P.S. Bare frame without anything? Size 54?

P.P.S. Total weight with carbon clinchers, really heavy bars, stem, cages, cassette etc, is good!

Ha! Sorry I forgot a few of the completed bike

Will be swapping out the AL bars for the Vibe Carbon bars later this week

I know bar tape is something that people struggle with sometimes but it isn't so hard to line up the electrical tape with the edge of the bar tape is it?

Yes, the finishing job on the tape is a mess. It's temporary, and partially related to not knowing what I want to do with those satellite shifters. I didn't like the big rubber holders they came with, so they are held in place with the extra tape.

new carbon bars some this week, which have fully internal routing for all cables, unlike the Al version. this will clean things up a bit, and simplify the rats nest of di2 wiring inside the bars just a little.

I promise to take pictures of the new bars.

To be extra critical, the rear housing can be trimmed a few mm (which I will do) and the front needs 3:1 shrink tubing vs the 2:1 that was used in those photos

Both transgressions will be remediated shortly
