Shaved a bit more weight off with a few replacements:

1. Crankset - THM + Praxis
2. Chain - PYC 11s hollow pin
3. ISP Topper - KCNC zero offset

Gained some grams on the tires with Ritchey race slicks but they're more durable

Would appreciated any recommendations on the ff:
- Current handlebars are unbranded (185g), how about Darimo, AX, Schmolke, Mcfk?
- Thw Ciamillos Micro GSL are light, but are there better performing ones?

If they're correctly set up I'd say Ciamillos are already a pretty good combination of braking performance and weight. Maybe you could try THM fibulas though?

Beautiful bike

Absolutley love this. By any chance, do you remember where you sourced the unbranded bar, and has it held up well?

For the bars, I highly recommend the haero H.145. My size 42 bars are 156g actual weight, stiff, and have a 115 kg weight limit if I recall correctly, higher than the typical 100kg.

Actually I am replacing the bars with Pro Vibes to get an aero effect. Drop a message if you're interested in buying, I give weight weenie discounts.

It was sourced through FarmLim, a fellow WW from HK. So far it's held up well, I've used it over 4 years

Lemme take a crack at them again, I'll change the pads and see if I can set things up properly. Yeah Fibulas are probably at the top of my list.

Thanks!

If your pads are worn out that might be why they aren't performing well. To take full advantage of the cam's leverage, you need to use spacers behind the brake pad holders to get the pads close to the rim rather than using the barrel adjuster*. Unfortunately the pads have to be quite close to the rim for the brakes to work properly so you get quite a short lever-throw, which not everyone likes. Hope that helps :)

* otherwise by the time the pads reach the rim, the brake will have already gone past its ideal range of motion.

I found the EE brakes set up this way work much better as well.

Hey Shotgun1,
I would like to recommend the Fibula brakes for your build.
I've heard some trash talked about them, but I've never had any issues after using them for several years (except breaking a spring , 100% my fault)
If you can pick a used 1st gen set for a good price and in good condition, you'll be 'sweet as bro'

Bit the bullet a few months back, a generous WW member [you know who you are, cheers!] was generous enough to sell me his Fibula set. I'll install them this weekend, and make a few more tweaks. I'm gunning for a 5.4kg total weight. I'll share some photos once done and if the weather clears up.
