Long time lurker first-time poster
Thanks to the posts on WW, I was able to piece together my first ww build with my limited fulltime gradeschool budget.

The posts on this forum with a breakdown of part weights helped me a lot, so this is my attempt:

This is a sensible build, considering my weight (89kg), but I like to get this down at least to UCI:
-- first idea, trimming fork and seatpost (both uncut)

Any other economic ideas? I don't mind a little DIY if you know what I mean :)ImageImage

You can loose with a pair of low-profile tubes 300-400 grams and not expensive if you buy them second-hand.

Your Prologo Scratch 2 saddle weighs in at 273g

Could easily drop 100g without too much expense

Looks like you can trim the steerer tube down if that photo is your final position. Also any excess on the seatpost, as you say it is uncut in your chart. Alternatively there are cheap, light seatposts available on ebay - viewtopic.php?f=3&t=141982

There are cheap, lighter bottle cages available also like the Planet X ones.

Right I know, use to ride a selle Italia SLR for a 160g, but scratch keeps me happy on all rides.

Are there such things as light and comfy saddles ? Amp dynamic is a similar 220g last time I check

Not keeping to a budget, but you could go for the Nack version of the Scratch 2. Prologo say 178g, but i'd guess a little more than that. I am on the Nago and I think both of mine were over the advertised weight.
