ESX, Z5 and Z1 CX.

15.6lbs, 14.4lbs and 16.5lbs respectively.

They're each lovely, lovely bikes, but the ESX is something special...

That Z5 still looks awesome. I don't think so I'll ever sell mine Z5sl becouse it's never getting "old looking" frame and totally happy with it even I can't use 25mm Conti clinchers on it.

How would you compare Z5 and ESX ride comfort?

Thanks for the comments.

So the Z5 is the nicest ride, it feels so well damped like it's got suspension but it's stiff and accelerates so easily. But the ESX is so fast. I live in the flat lands of Savannah, GA and its just perfect for here. Very comfortable for an aero bike (28mm tire on the rear!) and climbs just fine but it just gives you free speed everywhere. The Z5 feels fast, but every time I look at the Garmin I'm 3mph down on what I'm used to with the ESX. And eTap is most excellent.

I must have had over 30 bikes and been lucky enough to have owned some lovely frames over the years (Baum, Serotta, Cyfac, Colnago, Look, Time, Litespeed, Lynskey, etc. etc.) but can safely say I'm fully resolved with the 3 bikes I've got (for now!). Parlee just make frames that really suit me.

Nice bikes, but a bit similar for my tastes and not really good news as I’ve had my Z5sl for ages and am buying something else. What will you buy next? A pegoretti might be the perfect contrast
