Awesome, never get tired of seeing pics of other Protos, its such a great great bike. Also, ive noticed the proportions seem to look great/good in pretty much all sizes, which cant be said for all frames.

What is the difference between Black label and regular versions of the frame? Just custom paint jobs? Are all protos made in Italy or are some made in Asia? Mine did not have a Made In sticker to be found anywhere on the frame :/

I think that Black label means custom colors and geometry. I also think that all the first generation Protos were 100% made in Italy, not sure about the new Protos models though.

New model is made in the Far East.

The new King replacing the King XS will have a black label option that will will be all made in Italy while the standard version will be made along with the Protos in Asia.

There are indeed two versions.

As a matter of fact, Andrea from Cicli showed me the differences between the black label (brakes on the seatstays) and the made in far east version (brakes by the bottom bracket)

The standard and the black label are pictured here. Note the difference in brake mounting for the standard vs BL.

I saw a version 2 PROTOS (I remember the original protos too), like this in Bolzano. Very nice on photos, but the reality is amaizing.
