I adore my Protos, but have an itch to try something new since selling my RXR. Want to try an "aero" or ultralight frame. I debated getting a Lampo but love the looks of the XR4 in matte Celeste and decided to purchase one after my local shop offered the frame with an extremely friendly price. Since ordering the frame, I have been purchasing components for the build. I am still waiting for the integrated stem/handlebar and powermeter to arrive. Once those arrive, I will chronicle with images of the build process.

Frame: Bianchi Oltre XR4 (Matte Celeste, sz.59)
Headset: FSA
seatpost clamp: Bianchi
Seatpost: Bianchi
Seat: Berk Lupina
Stem/Bar: Vision Metron 5D
Bartape: Supacaz

Rear derailleur: Record EPS
Crankset: SRM Campagnolo Powermeter (175, 53-39)
Bottom Bracket: Campagnolo Record Ultra Torque BB86
Chain: Campagnolo Record
Shifters: Campagnolo Record EPS
Cassette: Campagnolo Chorus 11-27
Wheels: Campagnolo Bora One 50

Yes! I've been obsessed with that frame lately. The matte Celeste looks great and can't go wrong with campy also interested on how you like the 5D bars.

Beautiful! I'm looking forward to seeing your build.

May I suggest Super Record?

Finally completed the build this morning. Had to wait for the metron bar/stem. I hastily took some pics after a short ride in the park. Will write up a ride comparison with the Protos if there is interest. Overall, the build is pretty straight forward - Campagnolo everything!

Damnit........this is making want this badly and I do NOT need another bike.

Can I ask fit details? Saddle height, bar/stem info, reach, drop?

Looks really sharp. Could you do some kind of review on the metron bars? Thinking about getting them for my sprint.

Thank you for the kind words. I am very happy with it especially since i have not test ridden it yet.

- Saddle height (BB to saddle top) is 81
- Stem/bar is 130x44 w/ a 125 drop and 80mm reach

I was annoyed with the junction box cover as it is designed for di2 even though i asked if i could have the EPS version. required my builder to do some hacking. The bar is beautiful and has a flat top which suits my big hands

I am not sure i am qualified to give a thorough account of the bars because i have only used them for about 2 hours. They are heavier than advertised, but i am glad i waited for them (about 1 week extra). That said, the metron is very stiff and has a beautiful sweep which makes them comfy to rest my palms. I like the bar a lot so far. It's my first integrated bar and i do love how it cleans up the cockpit. I can report back after some more saddle time.
