Few things to comment on. Wasn't intended to be a weight weenie build - there's really not a lot of light stuff on here, just the carbon ti hubs, sisl2 crankset, and i was surprised at the weight of the cannonade escape hanger bars. oh and of course the tririg mercury pedals, but i use those on every build. Since they've stopped selling them I'm not sure what i'll do moving forward. I wasn't going to remove everything from the frame when I weighed it but when it came out at 1042g I figured pull everything off and see if its 9xx.....
The fork is heavy though. I have an Evo HM fork that is 280 uncut...this was like 390 before I cut it. The Hylix post is heavyish at its uncut 400mm length but I can hack off like 150mm easy, and get it down to prolly 130g. I haven't done it yet because I am not sure I'm going to keep it - looking to see if I can get the clamp for carbon 7*9 rails. Tires, tubes, bar tape and skewers are really heavy too, just stuff I had laying around..I figure with a Kalloy stem, shorter post, Antares 00, and lighter tires/tubes/skewers and tape, I could be at 5.9kg/12.9lbs.
The 1x was something i've wanted to try, and i just did a 50 mile shakeout ride today and so far loving it. Completely silent drivetrain, and fantastic shift quality. I added the recommended extra 2 links to the calculated chain length and I think that contributes to why it's so quiet even in the 44/28 gear. Not a clutched RD, but I took it over some really bumpy roads and shifted and no drama; can't imagine this chain ever coming off..
This is my first set of alloys in years, and they're awesome; great braking with the ceramic surface, stiff, but super comfortable. Set up with 80psi.
I'm 175cm (5'9), 59kg (130lbs), saddle height 72.5cm (28.5").

Impressive weight. I don't think my 56 could ever compete with that
The 1x drivetrain is really interesting but a 44t chainring imo is not enough for flat and descent, I've seen that on official catalog the 1x caad12 was showed with a 50t chainring

It may not be. There's a ride that I do on Wednesdays where the finishing sprint is close to 65k; we'll see if i can hang. No problems hitting 50kph on it's test ride...

Yes indeed, I have a couple sets of the Rails and decided to try the a-force after going for a ride with Dave and having him expound on the virtues of alloy for a couple of hours lol
