Had my Extreme C resprayed as there were a few scratches and I wanted a fairly minimal look. Weight of the bike is 6.24kg with these light wheels (Tune hubs, Enve rims). Approx 6.5 / 6.6kg with my Mavic wheels; Stem and headset are Extralite; bars and seatpost Deda Superleggera; cranks 52 x 34 Campag Centaur. I tried to fit my Extralite cranks which would have saved over 100g but the crank arms clashed with the front mech of the ETAP. I can only assume it has something to do with the Q-factor.

Love the clean lines of ETAP sans cables. The thing that set me off on this was seeing how nice Tinea's bike was / is.

Should have added that for the cable guides i removed the pop rivets by drilling them out. The painter then filled the small gaps before spraying. Also changed out the fork from the Nago to an Enve 1.0. This saved approx 80g.

Yes, going to put a black saddle on it to match the bartape (which will be corrected re the insulation tape). i always think the tape should be the same - one or the other.

This is such a clean and elegant build. The tube proportions are so balanced compared to a c60. The only change I would make other than saddle and bar tape matching would be to sand the logos off the etap levers.

Agree. If you saw some of my previous builds it would confirm i've done loads of sanding. This will definitely happen on this build as well.

I need to sand my seatpost, chainset and ergo levers. This is what winter is for :D
