First post. . .My current bike is an Emonda SL6. Really like the Emonda, and decided to upgrade to an SLR. I bought a used 62cm H1 frameset, and plan to sell my SL6, and build the SLR from the ground up. I'm thinking about Dura Ace 9100? I'll likely keep my Campagnolo Eurus wheels, and will be shopping for a saddle, stem, and bars. I look forward to sharing my progress!

Sounds like a nice build. That's a large frame, please post photos when you can.

Nice frame. Curious; did you snag that one off eBay the the other day? Matte red SLR, H1, 62cm. Was watching that one. Ending price was very good.

Anyway, looking forward to the buildup, and pics, of course!

I did! I was hoping to snag it for less, but am not too disappointed with the final price. The seller let me have his Bontrager direct mount brakes for a good price as well.

I've ordered my DA9100 groupset, some bits from Performance, some from Merlin. I scored a nice used FSA K Wing bar, and need a stem and saddle to finish the build. I've been riding an Aliante for years, and hope to find a deal on the carbon rail version. I understand I'll need an adapter for the seat mast?

Nice. Should be a very nice bike with the parts you already have planned for it.

Good snag and enjoy the ride!

Finally done with the build!

2016 Trek Emonda SLR, 62cm, H1 Fit
Dura Ace 9100 FD, RD, 11-30 Cassette, 175mm Crank, and Brifters
Bontrager Direct Mount Brakes
FSA Stem and Bars
Fizik Aliante Saddle, Carbon Rails
Campagnolo Eurus Wheelset
Garmin Vector 2 Pedals, Edge 1000, Varia Radar
Blackburn Carbon Bottle Cages

7.2 kg. I could probably save a little weight here and there, but I'm .9 kg under my 62cm Emonda SL6. Taking it out for my first ride in the morning.

I've made some pretty significant changes/upgrades in recent weeks. Converted to 9150, moved to DT Swiss Dicut Oxic wheels, swapped the bar stem combo to Ritchey WCS with matching carbon stem, and finally scored a reasonably priced Bontrager XXX carbon saddle.

That's very nice, looks so much nicer with black saddle and bar tape.
The tan walls, what tyre are you using, R320?

The mini make over looks good!

Hard to tell it's a 61cm with that seatpost height! If you don't mind me asking how tall are you?

What is it weighing in at? I've got my Emonda SLR (60cm) down to 6.55kg, after upgrading the bar/stem, but "downgrading" to tubless tires (added about 70g). I'm thinking of going back to tubed tires, to lower it down to 6.5kg.
