100K Km - Crumpton Corsa

Been here a while but never got round to doing this - bike was always a work in progress and never seemed the right time. Still changing bits here and there but here it is now, on it's approx 100,000km birthday, still love just as much as the first ride.

Tend to kill wheels, saddles, bar tape and pedals pretty quick so really just a snapshot, everything else is stuff that works and fits.TP might recognise it...

and yes front skewer is on backwards. I am anal and it kills me, musta been tired...

Frame: Crumpton Corsa Team- stock 61cm ~2013
Wheelset: Hunt Superdura or Farsports 56mm/Novatech
Crank: Power2max campag. Used to run full SR Mech campag, so have the spares, knowledge and tools for the campag so not swapping out.
Seatpost: Thomson Masterpiece, cut
Saddle: Pro Stealth Carbon
Handlebar/Stem: Fizik R1 snake, Pro 140mm
Shifters: Etap
Brakes: PlanetX CNC - not the strongest but always been enough
Bottle Cages: Arundel Mandibles

Simple elegance from the tubes to the B&W color scheme. All adds up to make your Crumpton age rather well.

The one thing that catches my eye is the top of the seat stays; real chunky when they come together. Looks like Nick still does it that way on some of his bikes.

I'd love to own a custom bike one day...

I would also remove the enve logo from the fork (if possible).

Great bike, and I love that its ridden. But a great bike needs brakes which are less of a pita to adjust, or remove a wheel. imho
