Personally, I would:
- unlabel the stem
- mount silver seatpost collar
- mount silver crankset
- and all black setback seatpost with all black "new age" Concor sadlle

But it still looks nice in your setup!
Congratulations!

Agreed, it's a lovely bike but the stem could do without labels. Love the fact that you did not fall for an all black built
And if I ever meet an aardvark, I'm going to step on its damn protruding nasal implement until it couldn't suck up an insect if its life depended on it.

I've just got back from riding in the French and Swiss Alps. Got some thoughts on taking the build forward:

1) I am going to switch to 11 speed as I need an 11-32 cassette 29 isn't enough for 12 hr rides across 4 HC climbs. So will get Chorus right hand ergo, chorus HO rear derailleur, edco monoblock cassette and a kmc dlc chain in black. This should also drop about 100 grams.

2) kalloy stealth stem, deda superleggera rs bars. Tune pink headset (dash of colour).

Thoughts?

How about unlabeled silver Campagnolo Potenza?

Superleggera bars are too bulky in my opinion. I would try to keep the bike as classic looking as possible.

You think a Superleggera bar is bulky but the Potenza group isn't? A silver Potenza crankset is as bulky as can be :!: I hate how they replaced silver Athena 11sp with the ugly Potenza group

I think a set of black Zero Gravity/Ciamillo brakes would look great on this bike and perhaps a 10sp Record rear derailleur. Otherwise - apart from the stem - I'd leave it exactly as it is

The stem with the decals removed looks much better. I love my smud saddle though!

I am happy we agree about the stem ;)

I am sure you like your saddle!
I've just put on the seatpost and saddle I would like :)
