What are the pedals? Can you post a pict of the shoes with the cleats on them? Sorry if it was discussed already and I missed it. Long thread and came in to the end of it
Same as Godzuki's. Same weight and all. Superb weight but cleats look a little ungainly to walk on though and not too sure about the clip-in/out mechanism.

Not to bring the tone down (hopefully) but can you get insurance for something as valuable as a bike like that? I've a feeling if it was mine I'd either have to live with it chained to my wrist or keep it in an undergound bunker guarded by dragons...

It's insured as a named item on my home insurance (not just from theft, but also in the event of a crash). The insurer doesn't want to know the specifics - it's just a "pedal cycle". I don't leave my bikes unattended, but obviously if I abandon it and someone steals it then that's my problem!

Who are you insured with? DM me if you'd prefer. I've found my premium in the UK has increased quite a bit in the last few years.

It's with Aviva. Only added about £20-30 to the yearly cost

How is the BB going? No creaks or issues?

Darimo seat clamp arrived. 1 of the first out in the wild. Only 3.8g with a ti bolt in 30.0 diameter.

The finish isn't perfect, but what do you expect from something handmade?! Overall really happy!

Hi Mate,

I'm looking for a new seatpost clamp for my Supersix Evo Hi-Mod, how are you getting on with the Darimo clamp, does it hold ok, no post slippage? that was my only concern really?

Cheers!!

@4ibanez any insights on why you decided to part with the bike?

Still love the bike, but found myself not using it as much as it deserves. Selling would give me the £ to start something new.

But failing that, I'm undecided whether to part down, or add a few 100gs and carry on using it.
