27.7g saved with the Lightning PF30 as per Mdeth/RyanH/Godzuki with the Enduro ceramic upgrade.
Enduro Zero Ceramic went bust after 500km on my Vial Ultra, switched to NTN from Hambini which cost me like +6g for a pair, but durability definitely will be infinitely better.

Weird - grade 3 Si3N4 like that should have very good durability. Hope it was an isolated case!

How have the KCNC TI cable held up. Are you still using them, I can't see anywhere in the thread that you've changed them, which gives me confidence as I've just purchased the brake cables to go on my Urgestalt.
Cheers

KCookie I have used the KCNC ti brake cables for 15,000K without issue (SRAM Red, EE Brakes, Aliigator ilink and powercordz swift). The gear cables have not held up for me though. Have had FD cable die at pinch bolt and RD cable die inside the shifter. Both times riding home sucked. (On the plus size mandatory high cadence session and low cadence strength sessions respectively)

That's awesome. Thanks for letting me know. At the price they are I'm glad they are working well. Going to be a good weight saving to.

My FD is cable is frayed at the clamp, but I attributed that to un-clamping and re-clamping a fair bit while replacing bits. Same with the rear brake, but it has withstood more abuse and is in better condition.

Heat shrink hoods - about 9.7g each vs 22.5g for my hole punched stock hoods.

Nice!
Could you tell the specifications of the heat shrink like size ID and shrinkage ratio (2:1, 4:1..)?
Thanks

I'm away from home, so can't be sure at the moment. I thought I'd mentioned it earlier in the thread, but IIRC I think it's 3:1.

Nice job pairing the 2016 fork with the 2015 frame. Has that caused any durability issues for you? Also does anyone know if the 2016 SS Evo HM fork will work with a 2012 frame?

The new fork will work in any gen 1 evo without issue. I have also done it. Looks better + gramz

The new fork will work with all but the very first supersix models. The new (2015) fork is for 1 1/8" - 1 1/4" headset bearings in the frame, so:
  • 2008 Supersix.....................1 1/8" - 1 1/2", new fork won't work, pretty heavy
  • 2010 Supersix HiMod..........1 1/8" - 1 1/4", new fork will work, slightly less heavy
  • 2012 Supersix Evo HiMod...1 1/8" - 1 1/4", new fork will work, lightest with new fork
  • 2015 Supersix Evo HiMod...1 1/8" - 1 1/4", new fork will work, lighter than 2012 frame with 2012 fork

Perfect, thanks for the info. I think I've found my next bike upgrade.

Darimo seat clamp arrived. 1 of the first out in the wild. Only 3.8g with a ti bolt in 30.0 diameter.

The finish isn't perfect, but what do you expect from something handmade?! Overall really happy!
