Silly question but is the only difference on the "Black Inc" frames the paint, similar to the Trek SLR "Vapour" paint?

Pretty sure they are the only ones with the HM evo fork. Other caad12 just have the normal evo fork.

I see. I was wondering for other frames as well - ie a Synapse Black Inc vs a regular hi-mod.

Cheers

That may be different, with the synapse carbon. I don't know what is different on the carbon bikes for black inc other than paint. They usually have the highest spec components though.

I now have about 200 miles, 11,000 feet of elevation, power meter is right on as my stages on the other bike.

Loving this bike.

Great build. Curious as to which skewers you got that are 37 g? My Lixada's off of amazon are 51 g but I'm wondering if that's cause mine have the brass washers? Or did you just find a superior product? Thanks!

To be honest I'm not 100% certain. When I purchased those wheels from our local lbs. he gave those in the wheelset. I can re-weight them if you would like. Or send you better pics?

Good to see your enjoying that beauty! What was the final weight? You could always slap some 25 or 28 tires with 90psi to help smooth the ride!

No pics or re-weighing needed. If you can maybe see what kind they are though next time you are by the bike that would be great. Thanks!

I also have this exact frame and trying to install these new vittoria cross g+ tires, but I'm have some difficulties on aligning the sidewalls to be straight, now when i turn my wheels it makes it look like my wheels are not straight but its actually just the tyres sidewall not perfectly straight and giving that bad visual feeling
Did you run into any problem when installing yours? any tips?

Thanks so much!
Great bike btw i love it!

Great build! I've just bought myself a 2017 CAAD12 Black Inc. frameset and taking inspiration from this.

What was the final weight?
