Extralite (Tune?) delrin spacers, 1x10mm and 2x 5mm; (6g).

Dialing in the fit...

Team CSC's HTFU black band (4g, but makes me feel weightless)

Lives somewhere above the head tube and between the bar. Some things never change.

As I recall, Stuart O'Grady allegedly got them for his CSC teammates as a foil to losing over and over to the unbiqutous yellow Livestrong band.

Kogel ceramic BB. It seems nice enough out on the open road with - thankfully - no creaking. My mechanic was impressed, so I have that going for me - which is nice (https://duckduckgo.com/?q=caddyshack+so ... BWcRqPesws).

Tune DC 130 QR, carbonworks.de bottle cage and carbon chain catcher up close and personal on my new bike. The Tune QRs have taken a bit of getting used to. Seems you have to pay attention to whether or not you're loosening or tightening them when closing the deliciously slim, carbon levers. The levers aren't bi-directional, if that makes any sense. Not a biggie, but just different than the M2Racer QRs (RIP) I used previously.

For what it's worth, my Addict's matte finish is a bugger with smudges and fingerprints. It's definitely not photo friendly. If I don't back off my OCD a wee bit, the matte finish may be the death of me. :D

8g just spontaneously fell off my bar. Not sure how, but it happened. Weird.

The drops were obnoxiously long as they came back towards me. Not so much anymore.

Lightweight Rennbügel bar (400mm with 79mm reach and 136mm drop; was 170g now 162g)

Fit has been dialed. Steerer has been chopped (sadly no bits to weigh).

Verified weight is 5.675kg / 12.71lbs ready to ride (includes Garmin, mount and two cages + PowerTap rear hub).

Nothing left but to post some pics tomorrow from the open road!

The FD tab on my new Addict SL is rock solid - unlike the flaccid one on my old Addict R1.

Front shifting performance is an eye-opening improvement with the new, rock solid FD tab and Red22 crank / rings.

Finally.

Does this mean it's done? The only thing you're missing is that black and red special edition Garmin

Yes, I thought it was done. Now I have to look up the special Garmin...

Thanks for nothing...

Very well done. The new Addict SL is so much lighter than the version it replaced. I always wondered why we don't see more of these fantastic frames on this forum. 10 years ago the original Addict was a starting point frame for all weight weenies. The revised Addict is so much cleaner with the internal cable routing and semi aero profiles. I just love it.

What are some noticeable differences on ride quality and fit when compared to your retired RC build?
