Ha... did you just make that up, or is that taking a page out of Trek's marketing of the new Madone when they had the second by second countdown to it's release. So exciting!!

Calnago.. oh wait, Shimano did that too with their new 9100...
The attempt and not mentioning the resources going into the hype to create buyer anxiety....

clearly Pina marketing people are mathematically challenged.
now they have under 10 hours to come up with a story.
curious whether [real] weight will be decent, at last...

Puhlease.. with a dramatic announcement like that, you'd expect something of a radical overhaul to the current F8 series.. but sign of the times where a brand adds a bit here, does a nip/tuck there and voila!!!

Interesting to see that they are still using our patent for the concave downtube even after we asked them politely to cease in desist in 2016 when they featured it in the new Bolide. Perhaps being polite is not the correct way forward.
As to which patent, the strongest and the longest one that we have is a patent in Taiwan No. I562931. That one expires in 2035. Taiwan and Italy are both signatories of WIPO and Pinarello was made aware of their infringement by the middle of 2016.
It can be seen here:
http://twpat3.tipo.gov.tw/tipotwoc/tipo ... 3240003be3The reply from their lawyer in August 2016 was that everyone in Pinarello was on holidays and that they will reply later. "Later" evidently means "never", so here we are.

Right now I'd settle for a sign of life from them. The silence is deafening. I am composing an open letter now that will go out to everyone in the bicycle media and industry. Perhaps that will get their attention.

I like that their website couldn't handle the traffic during the launch, bad planning on their part, and then the Di2 integration is designed specifically around the new DA9150, so you can't use the downtube port to hide the junction box if you have the older version or Ultegra, or for that matter EPS, genius.
