Regardless of weight, the new stem is much better.

Nice bike but a Deda or 3T stem/ handlebar would be a better fit - but it is just my personal taste.

Good suggestion! I am putting the final touches on it which include:

- WR RM08 handlebar
- EE Brake calipers
- lighter cages
- extralite compression plug

Looking good. What is the size and weight of the RM08 bar?

Still have not had the chance to weigh my new bar. I have the alpha version so it should be less than 200 grams.

In the meantime, pedals and brakes were installed:

My good friend and bike mechanic Tristan (sensiblecyclist) just dropped off my Protos; completed and weighs in at 6.84kg. He did some rerouting of eps cables to clean up the cockpit.

I missed my target weight of 15lbs by a few grams, but I am extremely happy with the final product. Not sure where I can squeak out anymore weight without spending an arm and leg. Happy to field suggestions. New cages, cassette, brakes, pedal and cockpit made all the difference.

It’s been raining all afternoon, so here are some poorly lit iPhone pics for now.

Lighter brake cable housing? Pulley wheels? Bolt tuning if you haven’t already? Cut the seat post if there’s any extra length? Should be good for a few grams without much expense.

Was going to say Alligator I links.

Can't see what QR skewers are in there but that's an decent place to save some grams

Tune bottle cages at 9g a piece

Omni racer Ti cassette, but that's getting spendier

Finishing (maybe only the paint...) is not very good for this frame... :?

I'm sorry but is the reality...

Thanks for the heads up regarding the paint Joe! I will just have to make the best of it.

With the install of the Clavicula SE, Praxis chainrings, carbon Ti bolts and new Kogel bottom bracket, bike is now down to 14.55lbs. Really happy with the weight without doing anything to compromise my safety. Aesthetically, love the continued matte carbon fiber theme throughout. Bike is complete (famous last words)

They certainly do look a lot better than the Praxis. Perfect match in fact. What was the overall weight and the difference in weight between the two, and how's the shifting compared to the Praxis.
Cheers
