it would cost me as much as nice lowly used tubulars wheels ( campa bora , fulcrum etc )

Which kool-aid are you referring to? He's never really been a trend follower...

Decided to clean her for the first time in a few months (maybe longer ). A few minor changes:

-Swapped Cages back to Arundel Mandibles. Alptitude Cages were great for Camelback bottles but most of my bottles are Purist and I prefer the tighter grip of the mandibles.

- Got my newer Enve fork back from the owner I sold my T1sl to (thanks!)

- Running SRAM 22 Chain now which cured the overshifting issue.

- Chopped the steerer finally.

- Replaced my long standing favorite wheels, Bora 35s with Bontrager XXX 2. They're my new favorite wheelset.

Currently sitting around 6.3kg

What's better about the Bontragers?

The differences are pretty minor but I like the brake feel better. It feels like it has slightly better modulation and power due to the more textured tracking without being annoying like Enve. Plus, I think they look nicer. They're black as opposed to the slightly off gray color of the Campy wheels.

You're wrong. They're garbage. I have a dumpster for them.
