3.8L bore-in mahle pistons and cylinders with rsr cams, rsr spec heads and full motec engine management. Dynoed at 382 hp at the crank. Fair warning........you are entering a very expensive hobby. An order of magnitude great than weight weenie bicycles. A simple stock valve job/ top end will run you more than most nice bicycles.

Found some old info that may help with your black paint care.....
When I got my 500E the paint was pretty bad, lots of swirl marks, wash lines, ect. I had the paint reconditioned and then used the below system, it worked pretty well ....
- I always kept it in the garage and under a car cover
- I tryed not washing the car as much and CAREFULLY used a California Duster and a Quick Detailer
- When I did wash I used the below format
http://www.ammonyc.com/detailing/basic-car-wash/
- I use these items
For the wheels - 1 WASH BUCKET and a GRIT GUARD BUCKET INSERT - 16" WHEEL BRUSH and SMALL WHEEL BRUSHES
For the Car wash - 2 WASH BUCKETS with GRIT GUARD BUCKET INSERTS - GILMOUR FOAM GUN and a LAMBSWOOL MITT
For the Final Rinse - Free-flowing water (no nozzle) and allow the water to sheet off
For the Car Dry - Electric leaf blower to remove most of the water then MICROFIBER TOWELS where needed.

Back to bike things...eTap is trash. I really don't understand how it can be so bad. FD alignment is right where it's supposed to be, yet it will randomly throw a chain every once in awhile. Dial the limit screw back a bit so it doesn't throw a chain and now it won't shift from small to big in certain cogs and in a way only SRAM can beat you while you're down, the chain will drop on the inside when cross chaining randomly.
I mean, these are all things I should know as I've written them multiple times elsewhere but....

So DI2 again
or you are willing to experiment ( again ) with campa eps ?

I'm contemplating what I'm going to switch to. If I want to use eeBrakes, then Campy EPS provides superior brake feel (only reason I stuck with eTap so long). It's just pretty heavy. Di2 I would need to go back to 9100 brakes which I'm not a huge fan of the feel of them even though they have superior power in the drops. From the hoods they feel like a braking against a block of wood. I still have Campy 12s but I'm more or less an electronic convert at this point.

Damn not easy man
Rim or disc, always so many things to consider.

If you do go back to 9100 please ditch the Sram XG cassette. The Shimano cassette will give you the best shifting experience money can buy. I've heard people using Shimano cassettes on Sram groups because they can't get perfect shifting performance when running Sram cassettes.
I don't understand the source of your Shimano braking issues. Are you using factory brake cables?
