You do know you're giving all the propel owners on here something to aspire to now right?

The tennis ball fiasco seems to have distracted everyone from the fact that you apparently can't find cycling shoes to fit larger toes! Good luck with your saddle :)

If you could fit a golf ball on top of that seatpost you'd get +1 aero points (dimples mate, dimples!).
Chains to the right!

Update
Finished and taken for a 170km ride.
Picture from exhibition and about 100km in. Still using the tennis ball but my current daily is a titanium tt bike around 8kg.

the tennis ball and disc wheels are pretty cool but i'm more concerned about the Ultegra Di2 + SRAM Red crank pairing together.. just something about that irks me :noidea:

The metal bolts/washers on the wheel covers look heavy, perhaps there's a lighter solution like nylon bolts?

I have plastic bolts but they are black. I plan to paint them white. The front is glued/bonded to the rim so I shouldn’t need bolts up front.

Red cranks were around 200$ on Amazon at the time and I wanted to hit race weight. The ultegra crank is currently paired with Sram 1x derailleur on the daily. Not posting pictures of that until the 80mm front wheel is put together. Switching kit around is possibly in the future.

Wait, slightly tight shoes is too much pain for you to deal with, but riding on a rounded piece of rubber on your taint for a 2 hour event is OK? You an I live in different worlds my friend. Buy a pair of Lake CX301 wides on sale which will likley help with the foot issue (and are super light) and good luck on that "saddle."

This appears to be in some kind of art exhibit? I don't know, this whole thread makes me wildly uncomfortable. And not just because I have a tennis ball lodged in my sphincter.

I’m interested in the development of this bike. Light weight bolts and fender washers on the wheel covers are a good start. What are the flipper attachments on the seatpost? Does it appear like you’re emitting flames while seated? I bet they flap nicely in the wind.
