Well, fitted a moment ago, tyres are at 110psi. Measurements are 27.1 at the moment.

Seems like I’ve got 2-3mm clearance and I would say they are not as tall as the Conti’s. So possibly more clearance.

Pretty happy with that, gracing cobbles as of mid April..

That looks ok to me, but at the max I’d want to go for sure.
And I guess I missed your previous post and link earlier. All I got from that is it seems that maybe the 27mm Pave’s, the 25mm Corsa G+, and the Conti 25mm 4000sii’s all are about the same size? Was that your takeaway too?

Yes absolutely, I wouldn’t want to go anymore than that at all.

Same takeaway as yourself really on the link, seems the Corsa G+ 25C and Pave 27C have the same carcasses. So should measure up the same.

I’ve potentially blown me knee so may not be going to Roubaix if it doesn’t clear up, that would be an absolute shocker. Fingers crossed!

I'm about 100 miles in on the tyres, really rate them - clearance has been absolutely fine. So for any C60 owners out there -Pave 27C on C17 rims are all good on your steed.

The Nago absolutely flew along the cobbles, no mechanicals or punctures. Couldn’t believe it!

A strong headwind added to suffering and got round just over 6hrs, nobody should underestimate just how punishing those cobbles are!

Great experience, never again though! For reference at 90kgs 80psi front and rear was perfect. Maybe could’ve gone lower but zero flats was worth the punishment. Also anybody who gives bull on gripping the bars loosely is completely lying, you have to just hold
On for dear life. If you held loosely the bars would vanish beneath you and you’d be on the cobbles. The tops are definitely the ideal position, saddle set back another 1cm helps with power. Helped that we had Torke Cycling (probably one of the best bike fitters around) riding with us for tips!

New seatpost arrived, annoyingly only with the 7mm rails so I’m awaiting the larger carbon rail options..

Really like the look compared to the Fizik and the Matt colour is absolutely spot on when compared with the frame. Apologies for the crap photos.

The new/used rear mech I wanted to rob the cage from arrived. Unfortunately looks like the previous owner had their own problems with it!! Not sure how you can wear through a pulley /mech frame that easily?! I’ve asked to send it back for a refund but doubt I’ll get one!

@Welchy: I wouldn’t write off the cage swap just yet. That “damage” where the anodiaztion is worn through may be just the result of spokes grazing on it over time as a result of either poor adjustment or a bent hanger (frocking the derailleur cage to be too close to the spokes). The cage itself may be perfectly functional, although it does appear that maybe the previous owner was messing around with it, perhaps even filing it to get that little bit of extra clearance next to the spokes. Who knows, maybe the chain derailed and got all tangled up but it looks like it’s from wear rather than a sudden event. Ouch, and now I see the hole worn right through the pulley bushing cover. Ok, something happened but who knows what... I suspect it was sold “as is, damaged”? Trouble is, the damaged part is the part you need.
Nonetheless, I think it would be worth a try just to swap cages and see if that fixes your problem, because while it’s obvious it’s not new, it may not be out of spec as far as the intended “twist” spec is concerned. But make sure you check your own hanger alignment before reinstall. Good luck.

Yeh, its really the fact it's worn through the jockey wheel edge thats the concern, and this is the upper bearing. I can't work out how you'd continue riding with that much grinding...

I'll strip it apart tonight and re-fit some new jockey wheels and work out what the deal is.. Thanks for the advice as always.

Soo, I wasn't happy with the Record second hand part and sent it back for a refund.

I went ahead and purchased: RD-PO102B (Short Potenza Mech) from here:

Yeh, that arrives in a couple of days. This is just the rear cage as J&L jobbie, ordered it and thought hey, maybe it could be an option..

Rear Potenza mech hanger arrived, appears there is very little in it.

Fitted it and appears to shift just the same.. jockey wheels spin a bit more freely but needs some more fettling. Looks like the carbon part wasn’t bent at all in comparison.

The weight is also in the bolts I believe..
