Our first Blacksmith branded bike is in!
Custom stainless steel rig with full Di2 integration...
I'm expecting the bike to weigh in around the 15 lb mark.

The Frameset:
- Custom (freak) geometry KVA MS2 stainless steel
- Di2 integration with hidden battery and micro-USB charger
- Flow-through-ISP brake cable routing for trickness
- ENVE 2.0 fork for stiffness

The Parts:
- Full Dura Ace Di2, including brakes
- Tune Cappy - very solid and light
- Tune Bobo headset - CK is coming off
- Tune 4-bolt alloy stem - 108 grams
- Schmolke carbon bar - the world's lightest
- Tune Kom Vor saddle - surprisingly comfy
- 2012 Tune Schwarzbrenner 58mm tubulars with basalt brake track
- Schwalbe Ultremo RT tubulars

My bike, half-way built:

The clone, same tubeset but for a customer, so a different geometry and standard seatpost:

The clone, almost built:

Much better pictures and a ride report to follow!

Simple but very very nice! I also like your storage space. IKEA?

Certainly a head turner, but I'd say a silver Cappy would look nicer. Could you post some detail pics please?

I agree in theory...plan was all Tune silver components.
But once on there, they didn't look right.
Too close to the stainless colour, without being perfect...just seemed a bit off.
Better pics to follow later today as we work on the build!

Lovely clean lines, is this your own machine or for a customer? dare I ask the price of the frame?

Very nice. Battery hidden in the seat post/seat mast?

The ISP version is for me...the other is for a customer.
And yes, battery hidden in seatpost!

Oh, and base price will fall around $2700 complete with ENVE fork.
Internal Di2 cable routing adds $75.
Custom geometries are doable for an added $125.
So, still sub-$3000, which I reckon is pretty competitive.

We even include in-house fits gratis!

Best,
Mike

Good luck.
Under 3k is pretty competitive indeed.

You are the designer?

Dare I ask who's the welder?

I'm sure I read a while back that its Alchemy but I may be wrong.
Regardless, its a nice design and a good price. If I hadnt just got a steel frame I'd be considering one of these.
