I am riding the ultegra rear brake and can't get it any wider. My wheels are the Vision metron 55, probably they aren't stiff enough?

@Jorivsc, get any other rear wheel to try as a test. Im not using Shimano brakes so no first hand experience.

@jorisvc, i v sold a reacto Ltd to a customer, the white one. Had the same problem
Brakes are not wide enough, the cable had almost no tension and the stock wheels are stiff as a rubberband.
A narrow rim solved the problem.

@micky did you already have issues with the sadle stem that lowers? and on how much nm do you tighten?

Sorry, Im not sure I understand correctly your question? Saddle stem?
Talking of saddles, currently I went back to my beloved San Marco Concor.
I will post a picture when I've time.

I think they mean they are having issues with the seat post dropping, and are asking if you have the same issue, and how tight do you do up the bolt.

Personally no problem with seatpost dropping.
I used the value reported on the seatclamp and never a problem.
