I've been toying with the idea of painting my own frame but a bit unclear on what goes into an ultralight paint job. Would you be able to shed some light?

For example, do you apply any primer before putting on the final clear coat? Presumably you definitely need it where the yellow logos are. How many coats of primer or clear? I'm sure paint selection plays a part in keeping it ultralight as well. How do you select the right types of paint?
