You may have seen my post in the other thread about my not-so-weightweenie bike, and may have guessed that I'm neither a roadie nor an Xc rider. I'm a freerider, and I'm here because the bike forums that cater to my crowd don't have much information about fitness, and I think increased power would be an asset to my riding, for everything from faster approaches to stunts, to hauling my bike up hills faster. I live on the East coast of canada, and, because we lack the huge mountains of moab or British Columbia, freeride here is more rider-powered than gravity-powered.
