Thanks for the suggestions with the levers. Although they will look much better and be more comfortable, sti levers are still much heavier than the system i am going for.

SRAM S900 levers: 244 grams
Tune carbon clamps: -18 grams
Extralite OC stem: 85 grams
schmolke TLO road bar: 150 grams
Deda Traforate bar tape: 40 grams
Total weight: 501 grams

VS

KCNC VB1 levers: 46 grams
Ax Lightness Zeus stem: 65 grams
Schmolke TLO 25.4 mtb bar: 63 grams
Extralite foam grips: 13 grams
Total weight: 187 grams

So that is a 314 gram (0.69 lb) weight difference which is pretty significant. I have both setups so I will do final build pics with both systems (drop bar and mtb bar)

Have you considered a time - trial/cow horn type bar - it won't be lighter than a flat bar but would allow more choice of hand positions and maybe a more comfortable ride?
Depends if weight or comfort is the ultimate aim I guess...

Consider: optimum opti-coat 2.0 for the the frame. It will add 2-3 gram

I came across some brand new single speed cogs made by Boone titanium when going through my garage. I was thinking about using them for this project. I want to use the lightest chain possible aside from the YBN Ti chain (too expensive). I want to use the KMC X11SL chain. I am not sure if such a chain will work with these beautiful looking rings. Can any of you tell by just looking at the photos whether or not I can use the X11SL chain? If these rings are only compatible with a single speed chain, then these are a deal breaker for me as single speed chains are far too heavy. I know that the Absolute Black cog accepts the 11 speed chains and I may need to go that route. Also, does anybody know of any lighter cogs and spacers I can use? I posted the weights of the Boone titanium cogs below. Thanks!

I got my DASH P3 saddle the other day. It does look kind of awkward. Sort of like a preschool child's BMX seat. I have never used this saddle before. I am giving it a try because it is only 37 grams. It will be mated with the Tune Cappy. I also replaced the standard Tune Aluminum cradle and replaced it with an Ebay carbon cradle which cost me only $15 usd and saved me 2 grams  :) I think the carbon cradle will also protect the carbon rails of the saddle.

Those cogs don't look thick enough for a 1/8 inch chain, you might be ok. It looks like KMC makes a light single speed chain (X101) that might be an option.

Grab any old chain you've got and see how the fit is.

I acquired a THM Scapula F fork on Ebay and decided to abandon using the Ax Lightness Ax6000 fork. I agree with others that it is rather ugly due to it's bull legged shape. If I do go brakeless sometime in the future then I can use the Ax Lightness fork on a fixed gear build. I am pretty happy with the weight of the THM Scapula F fork.

The fork came with a nice carbon topcap made by Veloflyte and Schmolke carbon screw.

I am eagerly awaiting my frame to return and have been weighing many of my parts. Something I thought that was kind of cool was that my Fulcrum Racing Zero Aluminum clincher front wheel that I train on weighed about the same as my THM Scapula F fork with integrated brakes, THM headset expander,Swisstop Black Prince brake pads, Carbon top cap with screw, Ax Lightness Zeus stem, and my weenie front wheel (2015 Extralite Cyberhub, 77 Composites Tubular 20 hole rim aka Tune Skyliner, with Sapim CxRay Superspokes).
