Absolutely nothing
... Well maybe one or two areas, its proven a great test bed for ideas.
It would be nice to start a fresh and build a frame from scratch one day!

My "stock" 66

Plus Futura wireless sending unit & spoke magnet (not easy to remove), a mirror in left handle bar end, reflectors on rear of cage pedals.

Ridden over 15k miles since purchase in 2007.

Took all of the add ons off my 66, except for the toe clips, pedal straps & pedal reflectors for a "stock" 66 reference.

Weight 9.254k

will drop 56g when TI skewers arrive.

This is a fantastic bike/mod/thread! Probably the most interesting build I've seen on here. Chapeaux!

Well I have started a Scott Addict WW build and some of this Di2 groupset needs to be included on the new frame. So what todo with this frameset? Hang it on a wall or sell... :noidea: as yet.

Realistically, you're never going to get out what you put into that frame (money and time). I would hang it up in your garage, until such time as you can put it back together, and ride it.

Hi Bill
That should hold it! I found my old hanger still intact in a workbox, you can see in this pic how the epoxy bond has ripped away a few layers of carbon upon removal. It looks as though your epoxy glue or more likely a couple of outer carbon layers have given way, maybe the two rivets have corroded causing it to fail. If your repair gives up I would be inclinded to drill out those rivets fit slightly larger and re-glue. I doubt I will ever use mine again so if you need it to replace yours its here and your welcome to claim it for cost of postage, I'm in UK

Thanks. The rear of the hanger has a short length of staninless steel strapping bolted between the hanger and derailluer mounting plate. The other end of the twisted strap is held in place by the head of the long nut for the rear brake. As there is some tension on the strap when the nut was fully tightened, I don't expect anymore failure. The strap support makes the hanger more rigid than prior to failure.
