Nice bike! How does it compare to your TCR Advanced SL?
I would suppose the Propel is stiffer and has a more jarring ride. Is the "aero-ness" of the Propel significant over the TCR? I have a TCR Advanced SL (2011 model) and it's a great bike.

Very nice! I am about to build up my 2015 Propel Adv 0 (not Pro or SL)...can you share details on wire routing and internal battery placement? Thanks!

The ride is a little more harsh than the TCR but not too bad, The propel does feel a tad faster than the TCR. Both are really good bikes

Very nice setup.

Can you share with me the details for the internal battery? I'd like to do this to mine also.

Cheers

Like to know how difficult the set-up of the Di2 was?

Lovely looking bike I love my Propel and I'm thinking of a Di2 upgrade. Putting me off is the faff running the internal cables. Had a nightmare running a new derailluer cable after one snapped.

The cables are easy as pie to run for the Di2 on the Propel. In through the hole on the top tube, back to the front and down bottom tube to the BB. Your local Giant dealer should be able to get you some of the rubber grommets needed to tidy things up also.

I got my Propel Advanced SL size small down to 6.8kg with SRAM RED, Zipp 404 tubs and a P2M. The frame is noticeable lighter than the non-ISP version

Cable routing obviously changed since i picked it up from the shop, not quite sure how the mechanic thought he could get away with that mess :-)
Also thrown on a 130mm stem (Ritchey - planned to use a Specialized one but doesn't quite fit...). Not allowed to cut the steerer cos it still technically belongs to the shop

Nice Propel! I like how understated it looks even with the fancy wheels.

I'd go for a different color bartape though. :-)
Ride it like you stole it

I'm curious about your long term review. Now that you've had the Propel for a year how would you describe it? I'm particularly interested in your thoughts on this bike vs. your TCR. I have a TCR adv sl myself and am looking at a Propel for my next ride. I may reconsider and get a new TCR. It's been great to me.

I am intrigued by the Propel.

Please be as specific as you can with regards to the ride quality, harshness etc., ease of handling in cross winds, brakes, and any other points. If you could contrast with the TCR it would really help my decision making process.

Thanks!
