Nice bike. Was the paint Baum influenced?

Any reason why the seat post clamp is facing forwards?
Also show us the tool kit - it looks about the cleanest and most orderly work bench I've seen.

I didn't set out to copy baum paint but it ended up looking pretty close, didn't it? I love the baum look, and it ended up working with my overall goal for the bike.

The main goal was to leave the frame just carbon to save weight and showoff the raw material. That leaves the post, fork, and stem to paint. It restricts your options a bit to say the least.

The shop that I bought this from (and who built this up) built it with the seatpost clamp flipped. They report it helps even out the clamping stress to have the opening in the clamp opposite the opening in the seat tube. So I'm trying it out.

I can post a pic of the tool chest, but it's only organized occasionally and mostly because it's such a well designed tool chest. Here's a link to more pics.

More pics here by the bike shop, Velosmith, before I swapped the red painted stem for an all-black stem instead: https://www.facebook.com/velosmithbicyc ... gefilter=3

Looks great. I would lose the Bora stickers - as they look too stickery to me but great build. The forwards seatpost clamp is becoming more common, evos are all built that way.

Great build! How did you get the enve stem without the graphics? I have been trying to get some enve parts without the graphics for a build, but no luck so far.

They are from Parlee. For the stem it's unclear whether they get it like that from enve or they paint it matte in house. I'm assuming the latter but not sure. The post and fork are painted by parlee.

I agree regarding the wheel stickers. They are so prominent they overwhelm the rest of the otherwise beautiful bike!

For all you flashy sticker haters, I swapped on Meilensteins to get a sense of the bike with darker wheels.

With the Lightweight wheels and skewers the bike is dead on 14lbs. / 6.35kg

One of the cool things Parlee can do is etch designs into the raw carbon through a kind-of sandblasting process.

I had Parlee logos etched on the headtube, a z-zero logo etched on the downtube above the bb, and a few racing stripes with a z-zero logo etched on the top of the top tube.

Beautiful work. So, about how much of the weight does the power meter stuff account for?

There is about a 7-8 oz penalty moving to the srm from a campy ti crank.
