Have to admit, I did not know Spinergy still existed.

That being said, that's a rad frame and nice build you've got there.

Looking good,

How does those spinergy wheels ride compared to wheels with normal spokes?

Any difference in lateral stiffness?

Hi there And thank you.

Frankly i must say i don't have the right materiel and experience to compare with.
I'm very new in this 'road bike society', I started in may last year and bought a Kuota Kharma Evo, nice bike indeed,
The bike fever got me and The Kharma is now sold :)

But i can tell you it is very solid and lateral stiff build wheels with a good comfort.
And it's not noisy like a Cosmic Carbone

I remember riding my first time trial at a spinergy rev - x wheelset which i borrowed from a fellow cyclist. and with a road frame with add-ons.
I tough they went bankrupt after these 8 spoke wheels were not as durable as they should be.

But technology has moved on and i really like the principle of using a sort of fiber cord instead of steel for the spokes. But can't find any decent testing on those.

Could you try to do a sprint out of saddle giving everything you have with the brake pads really close to the rims (but clear when you give the wheels a spin) and see if there is any brake rub during out of the saddle sprinting?
Thanks in advance.

When it comes to looks tough i like your taste. won't be likely you would ever come across someone with the same setup.

Hi again

Like i wrote earlier it is very stiff that's for sure there is absolutely no wobbling during a sprint.
But i can't tell you there difference between 'regular' vs. bladed spokes.

That's a really nice frame! I like the bend of the down tube.
