Custom Rychtarski - pictures page 1

SO ! I chewed a little on it and ordered a custom frame from Rychtarski .

There really is much mail back and forth. Some totally misunderstandings and some really great experiences along the way.
I ordered on Monday (d. 10/1 2014) and today it's drying after painting.
The only thing they did not manage, that I asked for, was a black lacquer with lots of pearlescent flakes. However, it is something I can live with.
We talked a long, back and forth on geometry but as I'm not 100% sure on what i want towards full on custom angles. I chose race geometry. I asked for 58 C -C seat tube and 57 C -C top tube. I really likes bikes with a slightly shorter top tube.
It's been built in the MAX tubings with a MAX fork . I'll probably switch the MAX for with a Enve 2.0 fork, but for now, i have to but some miles in the frame before I decide .
I hope the bike is at home in Denmark next week and then it really just have to assemble it.

Photos of the finished painted fork with nice custom decals, will be shared with you when the bike is ready

It must be said that it was the coolest way to get a bike. It's not here yet, but i'm really looking forward to receiving it . I'm only 100 % sure that it is as it's suppose be when it is measured and built up.

Some quick weight listing says 7.3kg. but let's see what happens.

I have a Casati Laser with Genius tubing that has some similar bits - the TT routing exits (ferrules?) are the same, as well as the brake bridge. Mine has internal routing throughout, including the DT where the cables enter at the HT and then emerge under the BB and along the DS chainstay.

I love classic steel framesets with modern builds. The 22 sounds awesome, though I continue to have trouble with SRAM parts on my cx bike.

A fillet brazed steel frame is not 'well made'. People who aren't clever enough or do not have the skills to weld a frame these days still braze them. What a waste of an excellent set of tubes.

Keep the max fork. It's awesome. I'm having a custom lugged steel frame made with a max fork that ill be racing on. Some friends were very adamant that you can't be competitive on a lugged steel frame and fork, but I'll show em ! Lol

- I wonder what bike you ride? Does it have stabilizers?
