I don't think the paint looks "boring" at all. The "hidden" red should look fantastic, and the grey in gloss will be a welcome change from the more common matte gray.

Looking forward to this.

Sugarkane, what happened to your Z5? Replacing or getting an additional bike?

It developed a crack in the front rear cable stop. Parlee offered a really amicable solution hence the z5sl and the old frame set is destined for better things. ;)

I just chose a really light grey & sent Parlee the Pantone code.
Stays are Parlee Bubblegum Pink.

Ok, cool. I'm contemplating painting a frame grey as well.
Could you tell me the pantone number for comparison?
