sfo423 wrote:Great looking paint. I was looking at the AMG-01 but am a bit hesitant as it’s T800 tubes, albeit custom and tube to tube.

Isn’t T800 somewhat past it’s prime? Seems like it’s been around for a decade and I see T1100 in use.

How is the ride?
The terms T800 & T1000 are in themselves meaningless. Tubes are made up of a mix of types of carbon. If you had a frame made solely from T1000 it’d be too stiff and fragile.

The ride of my frame is perfect. I’ve had it since 2013 and all I have changed is the colour and minor fittings when I wanted it to be electronic only.

Hi,

Which size is your frame and do you know the weight of the frame and the fork when it was only a clear coat over the carbon fiber ?

Perfect color scheme.
A great frame from a builder with history...

It’s a made to measure. 53 x 54 with a 73 sta. weight iirc was 940g in clear with minimal graphics.

Well after a few years I got bored of the paint job so send her home to Gianni for a repaint.

Rebuild is a toss up between Dura Ace 9150 Di2 or the new SR12 EPS. Only parts decided are the cockpit which will be Cinelli Dinamo or Neos bars with Cinelli Caleido tape to match the painted stem. Saddle will be a Brooks C13. Wheels will be the original Stan’s 3.30R hubs rebuilt with Ooen Pro UST 24/28 rims shod with Open Corsa 25 Tyres.

Very nice indeed!

Don't tell me those shelfing racks in the background was the inspiration for that new colour scheme though

Awesome paint job! Loving the orange.
Noticed this on Instagram last week.
Great way to spruce up an amazing rig.

So, having gotten a deal that couldn’t be passed up on some XTR Di2 mechs, it looks like I’ll be going with Shimano on the build.

Build is likely to be as follows.

Frame & Fork - Deanima Unblended
Headset - Chris King Dropset 2 Black
Stem - Cinelli Dinamo Painted 120mm
Bars - Cinelli Dinamo 42cm
Tape - TBA
Seatpost - Condor Supremacy Carbon Painted 31.6mm
Saddle - Brooks C13 Cambium Allweather 132mm
Bottom Bracket - TBA
Crankset - Dura Ace R9100 172.5mm
Rings - Absolute Black Oval Black 52/36T
Pedals - Mavic Zxellium SLR Ti
Mechs - Dura Ace 9150
Levers - Dura Ace 9150
Wiring - all internal with Bar End Junction & Bluetooth Unit
Chain - Dura Ace HG901
Cassette - Sram XG1190 11-30
Hubs - Stans 3.30R Black 24/28
Rims - Open Pro UST
Spokes - Either Sapim Laser/Race or CX-Ray Black
Tyres - Either Vittoria Open Corsa 25 or Pirelli P-Zero 25
Cages - Arundel Mandible Gloss Oil Slick
Computer Mount - TBA (Possibly off stem bolts)

All being well it should cone in around 6.8kg. We will see!

I put my hands on an AMG 01 built with record hydro last week. Great paint but it was really heavy. I know your bike is not an AMG 01...

What size was it? What was on it other than the Record kit?

Eyeballing the size it was 56 to 58 tops. Don't know the wheelset but they were ~50mm carbon. Cockpit was alloy; don't recall the brand/model.

I was thinking about having an AMG built in a size that would accomodate ~625 stack and ~395 reach (generally an XL) but I am sensing that would be fairly heavy.
