Hello there,
it has been raining non stop where i live in Wiltshire in the UK for a few weeks now - or so it seems.
To celebrate this i ordered a frame/forks form Savine cycles in Germany (Daniel Savine the builder is English and works for Merida as an MTB mechanic.)
He only builds a handful of frames each year and i'm lucky to be getting the first in the UK.

It's being painted at the moment and should be with me in a couple of weeks:

Paint will be ivory/cream with light grey decals and cream stem / pewter King headset and silver record 10 speed group.
Hammered honjos and a Ti record seatpost should make it into a pretty nice rain bike (almost too nice to ride in the rain!!)

here's a pre paint pic - columbus zona frame tubes and columbus max forks

Interesting frame design. Ivory/Cream sounds nice too but it won't look good for long as a rain bike!

Lugs suck because its not carbon fiber? Looks good to me, very classic design. Bring on the paint! :beerchug:

Nice, looking forward to seeing this one built. How did you come across Savine then?

cheers, i saw his frames on velocipede salon / paceline forum and then followed his blog.
We exchanged a few emails , a phone call, more emails and hey presto - a savine frame in the works.
