So the bike WAS finished. The last thing I had to do was cut the steerer tube, and like a big dumb idiot, I ended up cutting it too short, and ruined the damn fork. Have no idea how it happened. I measured three times to be safe. I think when I put it in the guide, I must have placed it on the wrong mark. You live and learn. Luckily, I found the exact fork on eBay, and it will be here in a couple of days. I'll hopefully cut this one correctly, install it and snap photos of the final build.

I'll see if I can mount the stem to the current fork, a tiny bit pokes out. If I can I'll snap a photo for you tomorrow.

Ok, here's a peek at the bike. Haven't weighted it yet, but it feels really really light. Waiting for the new fork to arrive to get a final weight. Dying to ride it.

Nice ride, to bad you cutted the steerer wrong but you can always use the fork as room decoration

I would tilt the bars a bit down and move the levers a bit up.

Took it for a spin and it feels great. Need to still tune in the derailleurs.

finished build looks great. bike should ride fantastic once you dial it in.

you might want to start saving up for a new seatpost. every woodman i've owned has been ruined. carbon cradle cracked after 3 months. replaced the cradle and a few months after that, the top of the post split in half. replaced the entire seatpost with an alloy el model. came in at 123g after i cut it, but after a year of riding the alloy cradle was bent. i weigh 150lbs (68kg).

Thanks for the heads-up. I actually replaced the cradle with a Smud carbon cradle, and the yokes with POP yokes. I'll keep an eye on the post.

You'll lose a gram or two peeling the warning stickers off the downtube.
