^^ Maybe after a little while, but I reckon it'll get a lot duller and the thinness of the plating will rule out polishing. Here is a copper plated bike that's not been polished for a while:

The "magic" mixture idea is actually pretty good, it'll get a nice green patina, otherwise it'll end up brownish.

Handling is superb! Plenty stiff and very comfortable. Only downside is the steel fork. When riding with slightly out of true rims (which all carbon rims tend to be), the fork flexes quite a bit under heavy braking. When riding with perfectly true rims fork flex was hardly noticeable.
