There's a youtube video showing how to replace the battery on the P2M Type S. I'm not sure how easy it is to do on the bike though.

Maybe it isn't the same case as it's with your tv remote's battery replacement, but pretty easy.

The frame still doesn't give up providing a nice ride.
Few changes over the time: rear wheel, saddle, bar, bar tape, stem, spacers, front and rear mech, cassette, crank, chainrings, PM.
As a result weight went up considerably. I have to put it on the scale, but I think something about 500g at least.
