Not as light, or as pretty, as yours surely sugarkane but i am looking at some ways to trim some weight.

Post and saddle could lose 100g tuned speed plays would net you 40g more and every one needs at least 1 900g wheel set ;)

Yes the seatpost and saddle would be the primary target. Would probably go berk if i were to try and drop some weight, which would, as you rightly point out drop 100g or more.
A set of claviculas would also be up for consideration.

Not a speedplay guy, so the keo blades are there to stay.

I like the ease of clinchers which seriously impairs my light wheel options. Some obermayer golds would go well with the gold accents though......

Berks are pretty ace! Claviculas are a very expensive way to save a gram or over the SLs
Maybe the new versions would be monies better well spent and prolly more grams saved

It's a nice looking bike any ways.. Bet it's pretty sweet ride

Few updates - Evo, changed the SI SL left hand crank for a SI stages crank arm, fiddled with the cabling, now have KCNC Ti cables for both brakes and both shifters. Have dropped the stack at the from and switched out the carbon spacer for a slam that stem + POP spacers. Total weight 5.63kg

Stages was 170g in 172.5, compared to SI SL in 172.5 at 143, i have removed the ugly blue stages decal with acetone.

Here are a few more picturesque photos of the tarmac before a few updates.

This is the tabletop between Beechmont and Binna Burra in the Gold Coast hinterland.

Solid Tarmac build. Would you be able to shave some grams if you replaced the white Specialized headset spacer with something more weenie?

@ FC, almost certainly yes, but I think the white spacer looks prettier than a weenie skinny spacer. I will accept the weight penalty (whispered as on weight weenies)

NiFTY, did you ever run the Stages Si arm with the Hollowgram SL driveside arm? I'm curious on what you ran into as I'm getting mixed info from Stages and Cannondale. I'd like to avoid purchasing a SiSL2 driveside arm if possible. Stages says I would need an extra 3.5mm over the recommended 10mm clearance and they're aware I'm already on a 109mm spindle.

Hi dlcrep, sorry for my late response, have been on holidays(marriage no cycling). I run the stages si arm, with 104mm spindle and SL driveside arm. Seems to work fine. I have gotten differing response re: offset of si vs sisl2 vs sisl arms. I certainly do not notice any obvious difference in the offset of the si vs sisl arms on my 104mm spindle. I have done an "everesting" (320km, 14 hours rolling, 8900 vertical metres) on this bike and even that distance/duration didn't cause any issues, you should be fine. Good luck.

No worries, enjoy pedal time now before kids arrive  Between the Hollowgram SL and Stages Si arm, which arm was narrower? I'm trying to figure out which side will require me to space the pedal further out.

Narrower in terms of offset or crank thickness? Regardless despite slightly different shapes, to my eyes they seem the same width/offset (I don't have a micrometer). The spacer requirement should be unchanged from your current sisl arms setup.

Measuring from the outer mounting points, which arm had slimmer bend? Stages is telling me their Si arm (which has an identical bend as the SiSL2) will have less chainstay clearance. However, Cannondale is stating the opposite, saying the Si/SiSL2 arm has more chainstay clearance than the SL. BTW, I have the SL arms.
