I just got finished building my Orbea Lobular cross. I had to get custom geometry, but it worked out great! It's 19 lbs as it sits, but when I'm done, I'm sure it'll be under 18! :) I'll ad a picture later...

The tires are nice. They suffer a bit in the mud and I think that is simply due to the height of the blocks.

Here's my ride... 2006 Lemond Poprad, completely rebuilt. I normally have my alpha cx20 fork on, but with winter, I like having the option of throwing some fenders on it.

as promised, I got some pics of the bike that will fit on the site. Now one thing I find interesting looking at other ORBEA cross frames is the fact that thier top tube guides are spread wide on the TT, mine are all on the top, not spread around the TT. So far I dig it, I got to trick it out, but so far it's like 18.95 lbs. as is, I think adding ti/al bolts and my tubulars, will bring it way down.

Oh they build nice handmade frames. They got lovely Paintschemes and sizes in 1cm steps ( not so important for cyclocross, but nice  ).
I will post pics when it´s ready, i think it will be nice too like the Ridley Mc Ewen 8) .

Thijsje,
What have your impressions of the CAAD9 been? I have one on order and put the question out on a thread, but no one bit.
