hey buddy,
Congrats on your new ride! Very tastefully setup.
Love the attention to detail, IMHO one of the nicest looking Madone in ww forum so far.
Btw, don't forget to give us your ride report in comparison with the C50.
Cheers!

Hey my friend
Thank you!
Compared to C50, its stiffer in the BB area, pretty much. Most noticeably when climbing out of the sadlle.
Its also comfortable. All in all, I am very satisfied with it! Wouldnt go back to C50.

Why did you change a handlebar. Don`t you like the classic shape?
Yes, but just the look of it.
I dont like the feel in the drops...

I wasn't aware that a DA 7800 SS rear derailleur could handle a 28 tooth cog--does it rub the top pulley?
It did, but my frined put on a nut on that srew that distances the rear deraileur from the frame.
I hope my words are understandable. I can make a pic for better understanding

The older Treks look so much better than the modern ones with the high head tube and sloping compact top tube. Great looking bike.

I agree. Nice touch with the silver seatpost clamp as well...

Agree. I never liked them much until Daddy-yoyo posted his on here. This is up there IMO. Reminds me of Lance's Trek when he had the LW's with tan sidewalls although that one was silver as opposed to blue. Very nice build indeed.
Thanks for the nice comments guys!
It also looks good because you helped me to decide while building it together
