Also I put on some Ultegra pedals... Are they supposed to be oriented in the position (north/south)? I feel like they should be more angled..

Seems nice, although I prefrer my all white 2012 foil 40 more.
Now you just need a new handlebar, stem, saddle, brakes and wheels to make it more ww

Nice!

Best non-tubular tyre option is tubeless I think for rough roads (running 90 psi). For normal clinchers I'd say 25mm Conti GP 4 season or Vittoria Pave open, but there are tons of threads on this around.

Thanks..I've never tried 25mm tires before. What sort of difference am I going to feel? I mean what can I expect as far as handling and speed?

They will be just as fast or faster on rough roads. You can run them lower PSI as they have more total volume. Handling and ride quality will be improved as well. The open Pave suggested is a 24mm tire and is great. The green stripe will be understood by people "in the know".

If you convert to tubeless I would look at two new tires. Bontrager R3 TLR 25c and the Specialized Roubaix tubeless 23/25. Both a new tires that just came out and have really good feedback as a new tubeless generation from both companies. Both are no longer Hutchinson rebranded tires.
