Thanks for all the kudos... :)

I will definitely have to black out the crankset in one way or the other... either a paint job of the Rotor or another solution.

Also considering a set of lightweight alloy wheels, that will get the bike below 7 k's without any other upgrades. I kind of dig the Stan's ZTR Alpha 340's. I can get a 1.250 gram wheel set at a reasonable price.

How did you manage to get the 65 Enve's with the SES decals?? Nice!

Excellent bike in general.

Any chance of seeing it actually on a scale?

Had the matte black "Enve" decals custom made by a guy from UK. Then rip of the originals and pretty straight forward adding the new decals...

I will try to stop by one of the local bike shops, and see if they will weigh it for me... I'll shoot a pic of it :)

Juggler - Here's my Nago that I changed (just about completely) a few years ago. Painting the cranks is no big deal.

KB - Looks awesome.

I have a quote from a paint shop - they will do the job for 80€.

Question is: Maybe I should save the 80€... sell the Rotor cranks (only have 150 km on them)... and buy a Red Exogram, and sand it down.

Result: More or less same cost... and +100 grams saved.

J - Personally, I would go with the Exogram's, but that's purely because I prefer the look, i.e., for me they are more elegant (in fact beautiful, but the graphics suck IMO); plus you are saving weight.

If you do a search, there are plenty of really good sanding projects which provide a detailed list of how to do it.

You have a great looking bike there and for me it will look even better.

I am leaning more and more towards that idea - and while I am at it, I might as well get a ceramic press-fit BB instead of the stock Shimano (worth 25€). I need to change it anyway to go from Rotor to Sram.

that is a mean ass MF of a bike! Love the 3T stealth kit on it too. The ghost decals consistent throughout keep the theme nicely

A couple of updates...

The new Sram Red Exogram crankset sanded down, and mounted with the Stronglight CT2 rings - 548 grams

Ciamillo Zero Gravity SS brakes with Enve pads, and Alligator i-Link cables

Image

Found a brilliant way to use the new Acros i-lock system. After a little cutting, the Di2 "control box" fits right in the fork steerer tube

I found out :)

Want to swap them anyway... looking for some black ones. Aluminum is actually okay... these tend to be as soft as butter. Need other black bolts - bottle cages
and saddle post clamp.

Latest update...

- Ciamillo Negative G-SS brakes
- Enve brake pads
- Enve quick releases
- Alligator iLink cables and housing
- Sram Red Exogram (sanded)
- RWD Garmin mount

Weight as in photo: 7,14 kilos :(

To get sub-7 I am looking at the following upgrades:

- Continental Attack/Force tires
- Continental Super Sonic tubes
- Smud carbon saddle
- KMC X10SL chain

That should by far get me below. And further more, I am looking at a +200 grams saving on the climbing clinchers (winter project)
