For bonding tubes together, multi-directional carbon is certainly a better option than UD. UD is not even an option when you custom order the frame.

Yes it is an option to have UD lugs. Maybe it is just a UD finish.

It's my understanding the lugs are exaclty the same if they are Ud or weave.

The only difference is the outer esthetic layer. (I don't think Parlee would make one lug type that is not as good as the other because of exthetic requests for UD or not)

I have a custom Z3 SL with UD lugs.

Calling Parlee....... :D Parlee....... :D

Great looking build

Beautiful frame and looks like a solid build list - really looking forward to this one! I just love those UD tubes, spot on.
