I love that you've gone weenie for almost all of it except the wheels! I'm in a similar boat with my Allez Sprint with a heavy ENVE 65 wheelset and heavy tyres. I've spent countless hours looking at lighter wheelsets, everything from similar depth wheels which would save me 200-300g and shallow wheels which would get the bike into the 6kg's, but every time I just go out and ride the bike I realise it's awesome as it is lol.

Love your Allez (and especially your pics of it!). I think there comes a point where you need to be content with your build, and wheels&tyres are something I don't really want to change. The tyres especially, I could save about 180g by switching to Enve Raceday 29s, but they're super fragile and everyone keeps puncturing in them so LOL. Go ride yours!!!!

Very nice build. Is there a reason why you went br 9170 in the front and br 9270 in the rear?

Had one spare, will swap the front one when/if I ever feel like it.
