I may end up getting some to have two sets of wheels after the settlement money from the accident comes in but that will be a while. I do agree they look nice. In fact, I think they look nicer than the Wake 6560s when I look at for example this recent bike Argonaut posted: https://www.instagram.com/p/CplecnUrwb8/
The wavy pattern looks a little too flowery when on the bike to me.

Specialized just sent me some brand new Roval Rapide CLX II's via their Shit Happens program to replace the wheels that were destroyed by the car that hit me. Debating if I should hang on to them as a backup for the Black Inc's or sell them. Front is 51 and rear is 60 - pretty close to the Wakes. You think that's still too deep?

Ride what you like, afterall, everyone is riding what they like. Tastes will differ. As someone who has the Roval 51/60 wheels on an RM3, after starting with 45mm wheels, I like them a lot for fondos on smooth roads. Agree that there is a visual clash with the frame design, but after all, I am not looking at the bike from the side when I am riding it, and riding is what matters....

Which wheels are you talking about? The Rapide CLX IIs are hooked and they support inner tubes.wheelsONfire wrote: ↑Sun Apr 09, 2023 10:32 amHookless and 23mm internals, no thanks!

I was only talking esthetics, so I'd have to see a picture (which I'd like to see regardless of anything elsecalicyclist wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 6:19 pmSpecialized just sent me some brand new Roval Rapide CLX II's via their Shit Happens program to replace the wheels that were destroyed by the car that hit me. As in by the time you jumped in they were discussing the CLX. If you want to reference an old post please quote it otherwise very confusingwheelsONfire wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 4:37 pmYou're to funny!CustomMetal wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 3:26 pmWhich weren't being discussedwheelsONfire wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 4:37 pmArgonautcalicyclist wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2023 1:03 am

My comment is on page 2. The info of Argonaut wheels is on page 1, as is your question for the link.CustomMetal wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 4:55 pmAs in by the time you jumped in they were discussing the CLX. It's what i can see but perhaps you talk of something else?
As far as i can see the wheels were mentioned and therefor i think they were discussed.
We might see things differently, but that's no big deal.
But yes, i didn't quote. I know that.
