Pictures don't do it justice. It is a transparent black paint which shows the UD carbon weave.

Bags (and fenders) were included if you preordered the first batch, but the bags (Roswheel) are a bit delayed. I was told that they expect the bags to be available in May when I picked up the frame today.

I forgot to ask, but I would be interested in the smaller bag which the F/RD has.

Broke the sleeve on the Kogel BB, the frame is currently at my LBS. Frameweight on a size 53cm is 1,015g including hanger, blanking plate for 1x and a gazillion bolts on the frame (small blanking ones for the Fidlock bag attachments and bolts for fenders).

In the meantime, some Token S-Box weights. The expander is proprietary and I can't use a standard top cap.

I suck at mounting tyres. So I need to take a breather.

Weights excluding sealant. Tyres are Rene Heres Bon Jon Pass Extralight. I am envisioning 120g of sealant given how much sealant leak from the tyre walls.

Rear wheel - including 140mm XTR rotor (94g incl lockring), 11-46 Rotor 12x cassette (294g including lockring), Tubolight tubeless valve (6g) and Tubolight tyre insert 16g

Front wheel, including160mm XTR rotor (115g), Tubolight tubeless valve (6g) and Tubolight tyre insert 16g

Thru-axles (Tailfin did not fit the frame)

An over-the-top pimped out rear derailleur - add 25g for the battery

Sprinter and climbing shifter - Ali

Force shifters coming from another bike. Red could be 6g lighter (CCache's groupset weight list)

Really impressed with the weight of the wheelset, once you've got it built up I'd be keen to know how you find them.

Sorry to bring back this old thread but could you share some of your impressions with the Fara F/AR? I'm seriously considering this bike but can't find a lot of information about it.
