Started as a Fluoro Yellow frame, which I liked a lot originally as it was completely different to anything else out there, but got tired of it & couldn't find a reason to get rid of it - nothing wrong with the bike! It is my 5th TCR over the years & won't be the last.

I'm glad I found the talented Joey Sivilla @insayne_kustomz in Montreal & he was able to give me that new bike feeling again.

One of the details that bugged me the most was the insane amount of Giant logos & small marketing acronyms and propietary technology mumbo jumbo details on the frame... Sometimes less is more !

I gained 100 gr with the new paint job - I'm not hurting about these extra grs...!!

Great looking bike, I have the same bike with total weight around the same but added the Cadex 42's this year, This is "Peak TCR"

I remember checking your bike when I got mine! You helped me with some front derailleur detail shots to figure out the proper cable routing.

Just updated two parts that were in the back of my "...uhm, just get them, damn it !..." list : Giant's SLR OD2 2021 carbon stem (27 gr lost) & Tune's DC wheel skewers (71 gr lost).

The stem was not available for the longest time (at a more reasonable price... Giant's carbon parts are getting into Enve's crazy price territory)
The stem came with a stupid light screw & carbon top cap - nice surprise.

I was on the fence with the Tune skewers. I'm on the camp that safety comes first & wheels are not a place where you want to go crazy light -having said that- I had the chance to do a trip to Costa Rica last year & one of the guys in our group was riding a set of Enve's with these skewers, frame clearance was tight on his frame (an amazing looking custom geo. Parlee Z Zero rim brake) & with the crazy amount of descents we did & with the road conditions we saw, he didn't report any issues with his wheels.

I'm oficially done with this one (have said that a couple times before), just wanted to loose some of the weight gained on the re-paint.
