Loup,
This was my only Gravel bike, my initial interest was on a 3t exploro and Cervelo Aspero when I was looking for a bike last year.
but I was looking fo something in expensive just incase if im not going to enjoy it, i didnt have to spend a lot. and when the new palta came out
and the price is with in my budget to build I jump on it and was very happy with the ride. also to let you know I used to have a Basso Diamante and currently have
the Basso Diamante SV.

I'm currently really into it, buying a Palta2 too. The Basso steam is quite bulky and heavy ~260g acc. to the website. Also the minimum Basso stem lengh is 80mm...
With the internal cable routing, do you think its possible to make another stem soultion work. E.g. Extralite Stem with ~65g

the problem is the HS cover and spacer which has the same shape as the basso stem. also the Palta HS spacers are made of Alloy not plastic or carbon.loup wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 8:19 amI'm currently really into it, buying a Palta2 too. Can you please describe what happened with the fork? I see the carbon looks damaged. Is that from factory?

This part. Totally trashed. A life biohazard. If this comes from basso factory, I would be pissed off. I heard horrible stories from recent palta 2 owners.

Could one of the owners say what the headset spec is? I'm guessing IS52 / IS52? If it's a standard bearing, third party stems and spacer stacks should be fine. Basso seem very unwilling for people to not ride their stem - which seems like a story repeated from the Diamante, which also turned off a lot of potential buyers.
